The KISS Scooter
(2009 Collector’s Edition, Serial No. 0005)
As part of our charitable mission to educate and inspire the public, the Bohms Family Charitable Trust acquired a truly rare piece of rock ’n’ roll history: the 2009 Collector’s Edition KISS Scooter, one of only four ever made by Crossrunner. Previously owned by Tommy Thayer, the legendary lead guitarist of KISS, this 150cc scooter combines iconic music heritage with unique urban design.
With just 16 miles on the odometer, it remains in near-pristine condition. Official KISS decals, including the famous KISS Army insignia, adorn the scooter, and Thayer’s personal signature on the front fender makes it an extraordinary collectible.
To share this piece of cultural history with the public, we have loaned the scooter to the KISS World Museum in Las Vegas. On display alongside Gene Simmons’ personal collection and other legendary rock memorabilia, the scooter helps educate visitors about the impact of KISS on music, culture, and design, while allowing fans and the community to experience a rare and iconic artifact firsthand.
